Easter was fun and BIG, this year! There were so many people, we had to use an extra table. The food, per usual, was great. My sisters went all out to prepare gourmet appetizer, soups, salads. I did the entree, and my niece from Tucson did the dessert. We decided to not do the traditional Easter egg hunt, but instead, decorated Easter cookies, played a game, told Easter jokes, had a "Judas" quiz (AKA The Book of Judas), read abt the Resurrection from Matthew...And the ladies were given a hand crafted Easter earring box. My brother had edited his video from the St Pat's Day party and we re-lived that. (He did a great job of filming the two dancers from Riverdance.) My brother in law, who does NOT like gourmet food, actually ate with us. He usually stops by "In and Out Burger" on the way home......... Work is still TOO stressful, and I gave my verbal resignation a couple of weeks ago. My boss came out to do a training on Tuesday, and said I would be moved to another facility early May, and to please not quit. I have contacted my Union, and my EEOC. Hopefully, I will be moved before I feel the need to file charges. My kids are doing surprisingly well, and my staff are happy...... My interns' supervisors came out last week. They said their student's were very happy working with me, and had learned a bunch. They will be setting me up with some on-line teaching in one of the Master's programs........ My second job has changed owners a couple of times in the last few months. Each time, it is new paperwork, a late paycheck, and unhappy staff. I, however, am VERY happy there, and would like to stay as long as I can....... Life goes on! I am looking forward to visiting with my son in 2 weeks. Doggie will be in a kennel for abt a week, but I'm sure will fare well.
