My mother is out of the hospital and at a Rehab (Nursing) Ctr. We almost lost her! She was to be D/Ded on a Wed, but was not stable enough to go until Sun. Her blood sugar level went way up and then way down (nursing mistake, too much insulin). She fell backwards on the PT, while doing PT. She was incoherent, word salad. That was Friday night. My family did shifts the whole week, and we are emotionally and phx exhausted! Anyhow, I am glad that is over. The apps for locums are on hold, until I feel a whole lot better. I was offered one slot in KY, which sounded like fun. My friend's surgery will be 1/31, and her family will be flying in to give her additional support. Retirement is still wonderful!
