Had a wonderful evening out this week! My sisters, 10 year old nephew, and I met at the latest 5-star eatery. We sat at the bar which looks into the chef's kitchen. My nephew knew most of the dishes, their ingredients, etc, and carried on a conversation w the chef the entire night. It was a fun dining experience, as usual, but was even better with a kid who knows more abt gourmet cooking than I do. (He wants to be a Navy Seal, and BTW just made All State Swim, but could easily be a chef.) I haven't heard from the TX corporation people, and hope not to. Was approached by another Locums group abt going to Savannah for a year. The reality is that I LOVE being retired and will not accept any position, anywhere. No other news. All is well in my world.
