It has been months since I last blogged. My "web-scanner-helper" kept cleaning up my links, and I kept having to find and save my links again. Then a new computer. And too much work. Etc. Finally, back to normal, I hope.
My job is the best job I've ever had. I am a "big shot", and it is a great last job before retirement.... or so I thought. The weekend job has had a new twist. That position is part of an international corporation, and somehow I have impressed the folks up high. They have offered me a CMO corporate position. It would include LOTS of travel, and a move to a new location. I am trying to stall them as I think this through, and am hesitant to contact them again as they may give me an ultimatum to make a decision. I would like to stay where I am for another year, and then bow out. There have been a lot of accolades for what I am doing, and the PR Director toured last week, wanting to do a spot on me! I would much rather be invisible.
On a different note, I have a number of travels planned for 2007. In the Spring, I will go to Ireland for a couple of weeks. Summer, will be a couple of weekends in Sedona and a week in San Clemente. In the Fall, I will visit NYC, then cruise from Barcelona, to Nice, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and depart back to the US out of Venice. I have wanted to visit several of these cities for awhile so it is very exciting.

Thanks, Rob! Getting older does have its perks...like slowing down and having fun!
